Natives of Northeast Ohio, our love for coffee began while experimenting with home-roasting in 2010 while living in Akron. We refined our home-roasting techniques when we moved to Chicago in 2013.

We are Nicole and Nick, a graphic designer and a pharmacist, passionate about the art, science and craftsmanship of roasting small-batch, single origin coffee.

With time and the influence of Chicago’s flourishing coffee community, our home-roasting hobby became Printer's Row Coffee Company in 2015, a micro-roastery committed to creating high quality, approachable coffee.

In 2017, we opened our first café in Lincoln Park. It’s also where we roast all of our coffees!

Yes, we know our name is Printer’s Row Coffee Co. and that our first shop was opened in another neighborhood. The name is a nod to the wonderful place we call home in Chicago.
